A statutory concession is a rule that lets students who have not quite reached the minimum passing grade still pass. This happens when students have shown significant improvement in their studies, even if they have not met the required passing grade.
Example
If a student qualifies for the Statutory concession ( SC), they will receive a pass in the subject even if they do not meet the minimal passing grade.
